Srinagar, Feb 23: Amid continuous snowfall, moderate to heavier at places, all flights to and fro Srinagar ‘international’ airport have been delayed, officials said on Wednesday.

“All the flights of all airlines are delayed,” Airport Authority of India said in a tweet.

“We are having continuous snowfall at our airport. Our snow clearing operations are also in continuous progress on runway and apron. However the visibility is only 400M,” AAI said.

Officials said that amid continuous snowfall and poor visibility, many flights are expected to be cancelled. However a final call would be taken by the authorities concerned, they said. Meanwhile AAI has urged all commuters to watch for updates.
