J&K Reports 458 Covid-19 Cases, 3 Deaths

Srinagar, Feb 12: Jammu and KAhsmir reported 458 covid-19 cases while three persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

They said 252 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 206 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall infection tally to 450331.

Regarding the fatalities, the officials that both two of them were reported Jammu and one from Kashmir Valley. So far 4744 persons have succumbed to the virus—2322 in Jammu and 2422 in Kashmir.

Giving district-wise details of the cases, they said, Srinagar reported 80, Baramulla 13, Budgam 20, Pulwama 9, Kupwara 45, Anantnag 9, Bandipora 5, Ganderbal 8, Kulgam 13, Shopian 4, Jammu 88, Udhampur 26, Rajouri 5, Doda 65, Kathua 7, Samba 3, Kishtwar 17, Poonch 6, Ramban 21 and Reasi 14.

Besides, they said, 1624 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time— 574 from Jammu Division and 1050 from Kashmir. So far 439332 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 6255—2594 in Jammu and 3661 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 39196 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
