Ponnch, Feb 3: A Special Police Officer (SPO) died apparently due to heart attack in Poonch district on Thursday, officials said.

A police official said that SPO Parem Parkesh son of Daya Nand of Village Dara Dullian complained of chest pain during duty at Shiv Gi Mandir Kuniyian this afternoon. He was immediately shifted to Raja Sukhdav Singh Hospital Poonch. However, he said, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
