Srinagar, January 26: An encounter broke out between militants and government forces in Nowgam Check area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday evening.
“Encounter has started at Check Nowgam area of #Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” Police said in a tweet.
