Srinagar: Indian Army Tuesday objected to a ‘construction’ being started by Pakistan Rangers along Line of Control in Teetwal sector in frontier north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources said.

They told that Indian Army after noticing an ‘unusual activity of construction’ by Pakistan Rangers close to the border, showed its displeasure asking the Pakistan Rangers to stop the ‘unwarranted construction’, using loudspeakers.

A senior police officer in the meantime told that the ‘construction’ has stopped in the area. “They had started constructing some structure on the other side of the border which however fell within 500 mtr range from this side”, the officer said.
