J&K Reports 3 Covid-19 Deaths, 111 Fresh Cases

Srinagar, Nov 8: Jammu and Kashmir reported 111 fresh covid-19 cases while three persons succumbed to the virus in last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

Among the fresh cases, 19 were reported from Jammu Division and 92 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 333187.

There were three deaths due to the virus, all from Kahsmir, during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4443—2177 in Jammu and 22666 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, they said Srinagar reported 44 cases, Baramulla 10, Budgam 15, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 6, Ganderbal 11, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 8, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 2, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 7.

Moreover, 96 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 11 from Jammu Division and 85 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 327579 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1165—135 in Jammu and 1030 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 83836 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
