Jammu and Kashmir Reports 95 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Oct 31:Jammu and Kashmir reported 95 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no fatality due to the pathogen in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.

Among the fresh cases, six were reported from Jammu Division and 89 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 332249.

There was no death due to the virus during the time. So far 4432—2176 in Jammu and 2256 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 49 cases, Baramulla 10,Budgam 10, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 5, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 3, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 2, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include male (60) (NA) from Sopore, male (50) (NA) from Ganderbal, female (75) (NA) from Dalgate Sgr, female (19) (NA) from Kanitar Sadribal, female (67) (NA) from Ishbar Nishat, male (28) (NA) from Zawan, female (15) (NA) Hyderpora and female (13) (NA) from Bouleward.

Moreover, 79 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 8 from Jammu Division and 71 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 326915 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 902—101 in Jammu and 801 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 48087 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
