Jammu and Kashmir Reports 101 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Oct 30: Jammu and Kashmir reported 101 covid-19 cases even as there was no fatality due to the pathogen, officials said on Saturday.

Among the fresh cases, 11 were reported from Jammu Division and 90 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 332154.

There was no death due to the virus during the time. So far 4432—2176 in Jammu and 2256 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, they said that Srinagar reported 42 cases, Baramulla 25,Budgam 8, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 6, Anantnag 6, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 4, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 0, Doda 3, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include male (23) (NA) from Sgr, female (43) (NA) from Qamarwari, male (45) (NA) from Bugund Kulgam, female (27) (NA) from Nowshera Sgr, female (52) (NA) from Bemina Sgr, female (95) (NA) from Shalimar, female (68) (NA) from Nowgam, female (23) (NA) from Wuyan Pampore, female (44) (NA) from Bagi Mehtab, female (55) (NA) from Bagi Mehtab, male (32) (NA) from Assam, male (18) (NA) from Baramulla, male (70) (NA) from Bemina.

Moreover, 87 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 16 from Jammu Division and 71 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 326836 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 783—103 in Jammu and 783 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 63155 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
