Jammu & Kashmir Reports 102 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Oct 3: Jammu and Kashmir reported 102 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.

21 of these cases were reported from Jammu Division and 81 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 329789.

There was no death due to the virus. So far 4424—2174 in Jammu and 2250 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 53 cases, Baramulla 6, Budgam 11, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 4, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 6, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 1, Doda 3, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 2 and Reasi 8.

Moreover, the officials said that 195 more patients have recovered—45 from Jammu Division and 150 from Kashmir. So far 324164 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1201—269 in Jammu and 932 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
