110 Fresh Covid-19 Cases Reported In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 30: Jammu and Kashmir reported 110 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

They said 26 of the cases were confirmed from Jammu division and 84 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 329430.

There was no death due to the virus for the third day in a row. So far 4422—2173 in Jammu and 2249 in Kashmir have succumbed to the virus.

Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 45 cases, Baramulla 15, Budgam 7, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 5, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 3, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 5, Doda 6, Kathua 1, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 7, Ramban 0 and Reasi 2.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratory of CD hospital and include male (53) from Indranagar Srg, male (60) from Bemina, female (74) from Bandipora, female (15) from Harwan Srg, male (70) from Budgam, male (27) from Srinagar, female (47) from Rawalpora, female (25) from Palar Budgam, male (30) from Srinagar, male (13) from Banihal, male (20) from Dalgate, male (12) from Qamarwari, male (31) from Khankah, female (28) from Dargah, male (15) from Kulgam, two males (70, 12) from Lal Bazar, female (45) from Baghwanpora, female (42) from Hawal, male (61) from Bandipora, male (24) from Eidgah, male (42) and two females (38, 45) from Khankah, female (18) and male (22) from Habakadal, female (70) from Khankah, male (38) from Gupkar Road srg, female (25) from Bemina Srg, two females (60, 33) from HMT Srg, male (40) from Neelam Chowk Srg, male (38) from Kanihama Narbal, female (26) from Natipora, female (45) from Bemina, male (50) and female (10) from Rajbagh Srg, male (50) from Shalimar, male (90) from NA, female (38) and male (46) from Sonwar and female (54) from Habak.

Moreover, the officials said that 153 more patients have recovered—26 from Jammu Division and 127 from Kashmir. So far 323663 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1345—299 in Jammu and 1046 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
