117 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death Reported In Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 27: Jammu and Kashmir reported 117 new covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

55 of the cases were reported from Jammu Division and 62 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case count to 329125. There was no death due to the virus during the time. So far 4422 people have died—2173 in Jammu and 2249 in Kashmir.

Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 33 cases, Baramulla 2, Budgam 8, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 8, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 5, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 40, Doda 5, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 1, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at the CD hospital’s diagnostic labouratory and include female (32) from Barzulla Srg, male (38) from Nowpora Srg, male (16) from Khankah, male (22) from Habba Kadal, female (40) from Zadibal, female (28) from Lal Bazar, male (65) from Hawal, female (35) from Zoonimar, male (72) from Zadibal, female (17) from Khellan Pul, male (54) from K Bal Pompora, male (10) and female (9) from Dangerpora, three females (46, 52, NA) and male (85) from Chanapora, female (32) from Bemina.

Moreover, the officials said that 118 more patients have recovered—14 from Jammu Division and 104 from Kashmir. So far 323190 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1513 —281 in Jammu and 1232 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
