J&K Reports 172 Fresh Covid-19 Cases

Srinagar, Sept 23: Jammu and Kashmir reported 172 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours in J&K, officials said on Thursday.
They said 151cases were reported from Kashmir Valley and 21 from Jammu, taking the total count to 328590.
Providing district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 67 cases, Baramulla 36, Budgam 14, Pulwama 10, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 15, Kulgam 3, Shopian 1, Jammu 4, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 2, Doda 8, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 2, Ramban 2 and Reasi 1.
Moreover, the officials said that 91 more COVID-19 patients have recovered during the time—13 from Jammu Division and 78 from Kashmir. So far 322554 people have recovered and 4419 died—2172 in Jammu and 2247 in Kashmir. There are now 1617 active cases—254 in Jammu and 1373 in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
