Budgam: Police on Monday claimed to have recovered an old sculpture from the house of a local resident in Khansahib area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

 

The old sculpture (Moorti) was recovered by the Budgam resident from a field.

 

A senior police officer said that Khansahib police recovered one idol (moorti) from the house of Nissar Ahmad Sheikh, son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh of Yarikhah Khansahib.

He said that Archeological Survey of India has been informed and they will ascertain its age.
