Leh: The Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs Friday night invited Kargil Democratic Alliance and Apex Body Leh for talks this afternoon in Leh.

News reports said that one of the leaders on way to meet MoS Home said that both the groups have been invited by MoS Home for talks to be held today at 12:45 in Leh.

He, however, said that the Ladakh Bandh call will stand till the meeting with the minister is held.

Notably, both the groups earlier this month held a joint meeting, wherein BJP also participated and they had agreed on four points. However, the ruling party leaders later distanced themselves for being part of the consensus.

Both the groups, based in Kargil and Leh on Friday called for complete Bandh for Saturday across Ladakh for not being invited for talks with the MoS Home, Nityanand Rai.

The two groups had agreed on 4-point agenda, which includes full statehood to Ladakh, recruitment policy with a resident certificate on the pattern of PRC, separate Lok Sabha seats for Leh and Kargil districts, and constitutional safeguards under 6th Schedule or Article 371.
