Handwara: A 78-year old woman was critically injured in a bear attack in Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday afternoon.

The woman has been identified as Raja Begum of Kralgund village Handwara. The incident happened when she was in a maize field.

She has been shifted to sub-district hospital Handwara, where from she was referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment.
