Srinagar: Birch Blasters Burzahama entered semi finals of J&K Premeir League-1 played at Green Valley Educational Institute here.
The first quarter final was played between Birch Blasters Burzahama and Nunnu Stars. Birch Blasters Burzahama won the toss and elected to bat first. They put a total of 198 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Adil (89 of 45 balls) and Waseem (30 of 29 balls) were among top run scorers for the team. For Nunnu Stars Mir Saleem and Rouf took 2 wickets each.
In reply Nunnu Stars were bundled out on 130 runs. Zahid Naik scored 54 of 43 balls for Nunnu Starts.
Rouf, Javid and Ishtyaq Rasool claimed 3 wickets for Birch Blasters Burzahama. Adil for his outstanding batting performance was awarded as Man of the Match in the first quarter final.
