Srinagar, Aug 13: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday condemned attack by unknown persons suspected to be militants at a BJP leader’s house in Rajouri last night.
“Strongly condemn the cowardly attack in the house of a political leader in Rajouri in which a 2-year old child was killed & others were injured. My deepest condolences to family & prayers for early recovery of injured. Perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice soon,” Sinha said. Interesting the message did not mention militants.
The attack on BJP Mandal president Jasbir Singh, an ex-serviceman, at Khandli bridge Chowk in the heart of Rajouri town happened at 9.25 p.m. last night, killing his two-year-old nephew Veer Singh son of Balbir Singh and injuring him and six family members who are hospitalized.
