Banihal: Several workers were injured after a mysterious blast MG Construction site, Banihal on Friday evening. Injured have been hospitalised.

According to workers they first heard sound of rock breaking followed with a blast.

“Some of the workers at our camp are injured,” a  worker said.

An official said that on 6/8/2021 at 2315hrs it was informed that some blast has took place at MG Construction site resulting in injuries of

1) Gopal sharma s/o Ratan Lal Sharma r/o Udhampur age 35yrs
2)Md Aquib s/o Gul Mohd Naik r/o Mangit Khari age 16yrs

“The blast has taken place under mysterious circumstances and investigation has been undertaken to ascertain the cause. All the injured are stable,” the official added.
