J&K Premier League: Sultan Warriors Defend 136, Ali Jana Cricket Club Comfortably Chase 124

Srinagar, July 16: In the ongoing J&K Premier League, two matches were played on Friday. The first match was played between Sultan Warriors Vs Team Kashmir Weaves. Sultan Warriors won the toss and opted to bat first and posted a total of 136 runs in alloted 20 overs. Waseem Shalla (29 of 26 balls), Mehfuz Khan (27 of 21 balls) were among the top scorers for Sultan Warriors.  For Team Kashmir Weaves Imtiyaz claimed 5 wickets. In reply Team Kashmir Weaves scored 108 runs only for the loss of 10 wickets. For Team Kashmir Weaves Adil Rashid scored 31 of 28 balls. For Sultan Warriors Gowhar claimed 5 wickets and conceded only 8 runs. Gowhar for his outstanding bowling performance was adjudged as Man of the Match.

The second game was played between Ali Jana Cricket Club and M.A.A.K Cricket Club. M.A.A.K Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. They managed to put a total of 124 runs only. Younis Taploo (45 of 43 balls) was among top run scorers for his team. Ali Jana Cricket Club’s Shahrukh Dar took 1 wicket and conceded 8 runs only. In reply Ali Jana Cricket Club scored the runs for the loss of 3 wickets only. Adil Kachroo (57 of 45 balls) was the highest run scorer for his team. Aqib Khanday claimed 2 wickets for his team M.A.A.K Cricket Club. Adil Kachroo for his outstanding batting performance was given Man of the Match
