Abdul Gani Mir Appointed Inspector General ITBP On Deputation Basis For 5 Years

Srinagar, Jul 5: Additional Director General Of J&K Police (ADGP) Law and Order, Abdul Gani Mir (IPS AGMUT: 94), has been appointed as Inspector General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police on a deputation basis, officials said.
They said Under Secretary to the Government of India, Raman Kumar, conveyed the approval of competent authority for appointment of Abdul Gani Mir, IPS (AGMUT: 94) to the post of IG, ITBP (Level-14 In the pay matrix) on deputation basis for an Initial period of 5 years from the date of joining the post or until further orders, whichever emit takes place earlier to Under Secretary MHA, Rakesh Kumar Singh.
“It is requested to relieve Abdul Gani Mir, IPS (AGMUT: 94) immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre,” reads an office memorandum in this regard.
