Srinagar, June 26: Five policemen including an Assistant Sub Inspector were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle in Kunzer area of Baramulla district on Saturday, officials said.

They said the accident took place near Pinjoora village of the Kunzer as driver of the vehicle lost control over the vehicle—mobile bunker of Special Operation Group (SOG). The injured have been identified as Harvander Singh (ASI), Mukhtar Ahmad (driver/SPO), Ajaz Ahmad (SPO), Firdous Ahmad (constable), Imtiyaz Ahmad (SPO).

Confirming the accident, a police officer said that the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment.  However, two of them—Ajaz Ahmad and Imtiyaz Ahmad—have been referred to SMHS hospital here for further treatment.
