Srinagar, June 23: Unknown gunmen, suspected to be militants, shot at and injured a 25-year-old youth, shopkeeper by profession, in Habba Kadal area of Srinagar.

Official sources said the youth namely Umar Ahmad was shifted to SMHS hospital in injured condition and his condition is stated to be “critical”. It was not immediately known as to why the youth was shot at. A police officer confirmed the incident and said that investigations have been started.
