IED Detected, Defused In Chanapora Srinagar

Srinagar, June 5: Police and security forces on Saturday detected and defused an Improvised Explosive Device near Chanapora police post here, officials said.
A police officer said that the IED was kept inside a box. Soon a Bomb Disposal Squad was rushed to the spot, he said. Later the BDS defused the explosive without causing any damage to life or property even as a loud bang was heard in the area.
