Delhi: World will not be the same after COVID-19 said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday while noting that the events in the future will be remembered as either pre or post-Covid.

He was delivering the keynote address on the occasion of “Virtual Vesak Global Celebrations” on Buddha Purnima.

He expressed gratitude for healthcare workers who were selflessly risking their lives every day in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and also extended condolences to those who lost their dear ones to the deadly viral infection, NDTV reported.

“Our planet will not be the same after COVID-19. In the times to come, we will certainly remember events as either pre-Covid or post-Covid,” he said.
