Jammu: Tehreek e Hurriyat chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai passed away on Wednesday in GMC Jammu.

Offcial sources said that Sehrai had  developing serious breathing issues after which he was hospitalized.

“Sehrai sb passed away,” Mujahid, son of Sehrai confirmed to INS over phone from Jammu.

Sehrai was a long term aid, confidante and considered as right hand man of Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geeelani.

Sources claimed that the Rapid Test for Covid-19 was negative yesterday.

“We don’t know sample for RTPCR was taken or not.  So we don’t know was he positive or not,” sources in police told INS.
