Lockdown announced in Srinagar, Baramulla from 7 p.m. tomorrow till Monday

Srinagar, April 28: Amid rising number of covid-19 cases, administration has ordered a “complete lockdown” in Srinagar and Baramlla districts from 7 p.m. tomorrow to May 3.

“There will be Complete Lockdown in Srinagar District from 7:00 pm Thursday (29/04/2021) to 7:00 am Monday (03/05/2021). Exemptions apply to essential services. Detailed order shall follow,” said Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad.

The announcement comes a day after the administration ordered imposition of 144 CrpC, banning the assembly of five or more persons in the summer capital of the J&K.

Meanwhile, deputy commissioner Baramulla also announced “complete lockdown” in the entire north Kashmir district from 7PM of 29.04.2021  to 7AM of 03.05.2021. “Only essential services to be permitted.”
