Srinagar: Srinagar-Jammu highway will remain closed for vehicular movement on 28 April 2021, Traffic police said on Tuesday.

While Mughal Road remains shut due to snow, traffic will ply from Srinagar to Kargil.

“No vehicular movement shall be allowed from either side on Jammu-Srinagar NHW between Nashree and Jawahar Tunnel in view of maintenance/repairing of the road,” traffic advisory read.

The officials said that subject to fair weather and good road condition, ‘only one way traffic from Srinagar towards Kargil shall be allowed on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road from Sonamarg at 0700 hrs. to 1030 hrs’.

No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing.
