Afghanistan: Five killed in Taliban attacks in Ghor, Parwan

Five people including three students have been killed in Taliban attacks in Ghor and Prawan provinces on Wednesday evening, Tolo news said on Thursday.

According to the report in an attack in Dawlatyar district, Ghor province, on Wednesday evening, the provincial governor Abdulzahir Faiz Zada said that four people, including a government employee and three students, were killed in an attack “by Taliban”.

“These people had came from Kabul and wanted to go to the Lal Sarjang district of Ghor and the Taliban stopped their vehicle and killed them,” he said.

A policeman was killed in another attack by Taliban on a security outpost in Bagram district of Parwan province on Wednesday night. Three more were wounded in the attack.

The report quoted Abdul Wasi Rahimi, a security officer in Parwan, said that one policeman was killed and two more wee wounded in the attack.

Taliban has not commented on the two incidents.
