Srinagar: Serum Institute of India (SII), on Wednesday announced that per dose for  Covishield, Covid vaccine, supplies to private hospitals will cost Rs 600 and per dose to state governments will be priced Rs 400.

The SII posted a statement on its Twitter handle sayi g they will be scaling up the vaccine,production over the next two months to address limited capacity issues.

“Going ahead, 50 per cent of our capacities will be served to the Government of India’s vaccination programme, and the remaining 50 per cent of the capacity will be for the state governments and private hospitals,” it said.
