Srinagar, March 16: Eleven travelers were 97 fresh Covid-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours even as two persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, the officials said on Tuesday.
Among the fresh cases, 19 from Jammu Division and 78 from Kashmir Division, taking the number of cases to 127831, the officials said.
Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 53 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 5, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 15, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 2, Ramban 0 and Reasi 1.
One death each has been reported from Jammu division and Kashmir Valley, they added.
Moreover, they said, 59 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—two from Jammu Division and 57 from Kashmir.
There are 973 active cases—225 in Jammu and 748 in Kashmir. So far 124882 have recovered—51291 in Jammu and 73591 in Kashmir. 1976 people have died—731 in Jammu and 1245 in the Valley.
