Anantnag, Mar 10 : An unidentified male dead body was recovered beneath snow in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, officials said.

They said that some locals spotted the body near Kapren village of Verinag area of the district and immediately informed the police about it.

Soon a police team reached the spot and recovered the “decomposed” body, the officials said.

They said that a case has been registered and investigations set into motion.
