Srinagar, March 10: Three more persons succumbed to novel coronavirus even as 97 fresh infections, including 20 travellers, were reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.

They said that 81 covid-19 cases were reported from Kashmir Valley while 16 were from Jammu division, taking the total case tally to 127288—52146 in Jammu and 75142 in Kashmir.

Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 46 cases, Baramulla 16, Budgam 6, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 2, Shopian 1, Jammu 12,  Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 1, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

Regarding the victims, they said, all three of them belonged to Kashmir Valley and their deaths took the total count to 1968—729 in Jammu and 1239 in Kashmir.

Moreover, they said, 54 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—seven from Jammu Division and 47 from Kashmir Valley. There are 899 active cases—184 in Jammu and 715 in Kashmir. 124421 persons have recovered, 51233 in Jammu and 73188 in Kashmir.
