Srinagar, Jan 18: The government on Monday constituted a committee for conducting the auction of 13 structures for “facilitating” the construction of transit accommodation for Kashmiri Migrant Employees at Fatehpora (I&FC Colony) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The committee is head by Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla and its members include Superintending Engineer (R&B) Circle Baramulla- Kupwara, Chief Accounts Officer in Office of Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner, J&K-Jammu, Executive Engineer (R&B) Division Baramulla, Divisional Forest Officer, Social Forestry, Baramulla, District Mineral Officer, Baramulla and Assistant Accounts Officer (R&B) Division Baramulla.
The seven-member committee has been asked to fix the Reserve Price for the bid as per laid down norms before the auction of the structures.
The committee has to ensure that no bid below the Reserve Price shall be considered and accepted, reads an order.
It has been also asked to ensure utilization of material as may remain outside the purview of auction of structures as far as possible in new construction and to make sure that the amount thereof is deducted from the work done bill of the contractor. The committee has to deposit the proceeds obtained from the auction in the Government treasury as Revenue Miscellaneous. (GNS)
