Srinagar, Jan 11: Residents of Bilal Masjid Alamgari Bazaar Srinagar on Monday urged authorities to clear their lane of snow, saying that people of the area have been put to hardships. “After hearing announcements that thousands of men and machinery have been pressed into services by the district administration to clear the snow, we were expecting that a few will also be deputed to our area,” the local residents said. “However, it has been more than three days after snowfall stopped but our lane is still clogged up with snow.” The residents urged the authorities especially Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and Mayor SMC to interfere and clear the lane.
