122 fresh covid cases, 2 more deaths in J&K

Srinagar, Jan 9: Six travelers were among 122 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24, officials said on Saturday. Also, two deaths were reported, both from Jammu division—a man from Ploura area of the winter capital of J&K and woman from Gandya area of Kathua.
Among the fresh cases, the officials said that 64 were from Jammu Division and 58 from Kashmir Division.
They said that Srinagar reported 25 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 5, Kupwara 7, Pulwama 6, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 3, Shopian 0, Jammu 47, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 0, Doda 5, Kathua 4, Kishtwar 2, Samba 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 1.
Moreover, they said, 267 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—116 from Jammu Division and 151 from Kashmir Valley.
They said out of 122425 positive cases, 2094 are active positive, 118422 have recovered and 1909 have died—711 in Jammu and 1198 in Kashmir.
Out of 4059790 test results available, they said, 3937365 samples have been tested as negative till date.
