Properties of seven residents based in Pak attached, multiple cases lodged, several individuals  questioned, says ADGP Jammu

Jammu, Nov 29: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Anand Jain Friday said that an extensive operation to dismantle the network supporting terrorism in the region. He said several cases have been filed against the Over Ground Workers (OGWs) while as properties of seven people based in Pakistan have also been attached

Talking to the media men in Jammu, the ADGP Jain as per KNO said that the multiple cases have been registered and searches are being carried out across various districts to target the Over Ground Workers (OGWs) involved in the terror activities.

“In connection with recent terrorist incidents, we have registered cases and conducted searches across districts against the OGW support base. Several individuals have been summoned for questioning,” Jain stated.

He further revealed that properties of seven individuals, who are currently in Pakistan, have been attached in Kishtwar district of Jammu. “Operations against them are ongoing and searches will continue,” he added.

The ADGP stressed that the goal of the operation is to dismantle the entire ecosystem supporting terrorism. “Efforts are being made to dismantle the support base, structure and ecosystem of terrorism,” Jain said.

Jain assured that the authorities are fully committed to neutralizing the threat and ensuring the safety and security of the Jammu region.
