J&K Reports 3 More Deaths Due To Covid-19, Toll Crosses 1800-Mark

Srinagar, Dec 14: The death toll due to covid-19 crossed grim milestone of 1800-mark in Jammu and Kashmir as three more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.
Two among those who succumbed to the virus were from Jammu division and one from Kashmir Valley—a 70-year-old from Guzarbal Ganderbal—, they said.
Both the victims from Jammu division belonged to the J&K’s winter capital and one of them was from Burt Mandir Paryal, they said.
With these deaths, the total fatality count in J&K reached 1801—1152 in the Valley and 650 in the Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 433 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (332), Baramulla (169), Budgam (105), Pulwama (88), Kupwara (88), Anantnag (82), Doda (58), Bandipora (57), Udhampur (53), Kulgam (52), Rajouri (53), Kathua (45), Ganderbal (41), Shopian (37), Samba (34), Poonch (22), Ramban (21), Kishtwar(21), and Reasi (11).
