280 fresh covid-19 cases, 9 deaths in J&K

Srinagar, Dec 7 : Eleven travelers were among 280 fresh novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in last 24 hours, taking the number of people infected with the virus to 113568, the officials said on Monday.  Also nine persons–five from Jammu and four from Kashmir–died due to the virus during the time, they added.
While 166 cases were reported from Jammu Division, 114 were from Kashmir valley, the officials said.
Giving the district wise breakup of the cases, they said, Srinagar reported 63, Baramulla 6, Budgam 15,
Kupwara 1, Pulwama 16, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 2, Shopian 3, Jammu 75, Udhampur 29, Rajouri 6, Doda 12, Kathua 9, Kishtwar 12, Samba 9, Poonch 0, Ramban 3 and Reasi 11.
Moreover, they said, 386 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 165 from Jammu Division and 221 from Kashmir Valley.
