40-Year-Old Among 4 More Die Of Covid-19 In J&K, Toll 1484

Srinagar, Nov 01: A 40-year-old woman was among four more persons who succumbed to the covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 1484.
Three of the victims belonged to Kashmir Valley and one to Jammu division, officials said.
Regarding the 40-year-old woman, they said, she was from Eidgah Srinagar, and died at SKIMS Soura, eight days after being admitted to the tertiary care hospital.
A 60-year-old woman from Sumbal Bandipora also died at SKIMS Soura, 11 days after she was admitted to Skims Soura.
The other victim from Valley was a 60-year-old woman from Litter Pulwama, they said.
The person who succumbed to the virus in Jammu region was a resident of winter capital of Jammu, they said.
With these deaths, the fatality count has reached 1480 in J&K—984 in Valley and 496 in the Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 358 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (258), Baramulla (145), Budgam (94), Pulwama (82), Kupwara (73), Anantnag (74), Rajouri (47), Kulgam (46), Bandipora(47), Doda (46), Shopian (35), Ganderbal (33), Udhampur (32), Kathua (31), Samba (25), Poonch (23), Kishtwar(14), Ramban (13), and Reasi (8).
