‘Salary of hired staff of polytechnic, IIT being doubled to Rs 15000’

Srinagar, Oct 10: Principal Secretary, School Education and Skill Development, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon on Saturday announced that monthly salaries of polytechnic/IIT hired faculty is being doubled from existing Rs 7000 per month to Rs 15000. In a tweet, he also announced that salary for hired non-teaching staff is being increased to Rs 12000 per month with immediate effect.
