Gunfight starts in Shopian

Pulwama, Oct 06: A fierce gunfight has started between militants and a joint team of Police, army and CRPF in Sugan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday. As per the reports, a joint team of Police, Army’s 44RR and CRPF launched cordon and search operation in Sugam after receiving specific information. As the joint team approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, triggering off an encounter.
