Srinagar: Militants on Friday released a video on social media regarding an attack on police and government forces in Baramulla in which at least five uniformed men were killed. The police responded quickly by saying that the video was nothing by an attempt to glamorise militancy and that all the militants part of the attack were killed within 72 hours.
In the video purportedly shot by one of the militants who were part of the attack, the militants are seen firing at the joint team of the forces, reports said.
Responding to the video release, a spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir police took to Twitter in which he said that all the militants who were part of the attack were killed within 72 hours.
“By releasing video of attack, militants want to glamourise militancy. But they can’t. We replied by actions & killed 04 top commanders, Sajjad @ Haider & FT Taimur Khan @ Abu Usman (seen in said video/attack) & Naseer @ Sad bhai & FT Ali bhai @ Danish within 72 hours,” said the spokesman, in the tweet.
