Srinagar, Aug 10: Suspected militants on Monday made an abortive bid to target with grenade the residence of a PDP Panch in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that the militants hurled a grenade on house of the panch Bupinder Singh. The device exploded outside his house without causing any harm to life or property, they said. A police officer confirmed the attack and said that investigations have been started into the incident. “There was no damage to either life or property,” the officer added.
