Navin chairs meeting of Accelerated Recruitment Committee on Govt vacancies

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 05: Principal Secretary, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture Production, Horticulture and Cooperative Departments, Navin Kumar Choudhary today chaired a meeting of Accelerated Recruitment Committee constituted by the Jammu and Kashmir government to accelerate the recruitment process.
Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Saurab Bhagat was also present in the meeting whileas Commissioner Secretary General Administration Department, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi and Secretary Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Achal Sethi participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
The Committee discussed the filling of around 12000 vacancies both gazetted and non-gazetted posts which are to be sent to the various recruiting agencies.
While discussing the matters, Principal Secretary, who is also the Chairman of the Committee, stressed on finalization of all the preparations so that the vacancies are filled up on immediate basis, adding that the General Administration Department will sort out the issues, if any, with the concurrence of Finance Department.
The members of the Committee gave various feedback and suggestions regarding the fast tracking of recruitment process to be carried out by the recruitment agencies.
Deputy Secretary GAD and other concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
