48 Travelers Among 390 New Covid-19 Cases In J&K, Total 22396

Srinagar, Aug 4: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported 390 covid-19 cases including 48 travelers, taking the total tally to 22396.
Among the cases 152 were reported from Jammu division and 238 from Kashmir.
Giving district-wise breakup of the cases, official sources said that Srinagar reported 99 cases, 14 each in Baramulla and Pulwama, Kulgam 1, Shopian 11, Anantnag 37, Budgam 9, Kupwara 20, Bandipora 5, Ganderbal 28, Jammu 41, Rajouri 21, Kathua 4, Udhampur 26, Samba 11, Doda 7, Poonch 14 and Reasi 28.
In Kashmir, Srinagar tops the list with 5432 cases followed by Baramulla with 1954, Pulwama 1968 , Kulgam 1524, Shopian 1485, Anantnag 1411, Kupwara 1161, Budgam 1345, Bandipora 820, and Ganderbal 518.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has 1300 cases, Rajouri 741, Ramban 574, Kathua 551, Udhampur 581, Samba 457, Doda 299, Poonch 248, Reasi 198 and Kishtwar 155. With the new cases, the tally overall has risen to 22396—17292 in Kashmir and 5104 in Jammu.
Meanwhile, 824 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—291 from Jammu Division and 533 from Kashmir Valley.
