LG orders Rs 10 L ex-gratia each to NoKs of Man who died in Kathua quarantine centre, 2 others

Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu, as a gesture of compassion, has approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 10 lakh each in favour of NoKs of deceased Kamal Kumar R/o Chhapaki Kalaan, district Kathua, who died while being under administrative quarantine in district Kathua and Vipan Zadoo and Vimal Zadoo, relatives of a Coronavirus patient, who died while performing last rites of the deceased in Jammu.
Meanwhile the District Administration of Kathua has sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh to the wife and two children ( 01 lakh to wife and 01 lakh to two children) of deceased Kamal Kumar. The District Administration has also given an amount of Rs.10,000 to wife of the deceased for performing last rites.
District Administration Jammu has already sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each to the Next of Kins of Vipan Zadoo and Vimal Zadoo.
