Srinagar, June 9: Lt Governor G C Murmu on Tuesday expressed pain and anguish at the killing of Ajay Pandita Bharti, Sarpanch in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
Calling it a cowardly act against humanity, he directed authorities to spare no efforts in bringing culprits to justice. “He prayed for peace to the departed soul,” an official spokesman said.
