Covid-19: Senior doctor tests positive in Kashmir

Srinagar: Kashmir’s leading pulmonologist and Head of Department, Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, reports said on Tuesday.
Reports quoting sources said that swab sample of the senior doctor at CD hospital, one of the exclusive facilities for the management of the novel coronavirus in the Valley, was taken on Monday afternoon and it returned positive late last night.
So far a number of doctors have tested positive for the virus in the Valley where the number of Covid-19 cases already surpassed 2600 mark while as many as 31 people including 27 from Valley and four from Jammu division have died so far.
