LPG gas distributor’s godown sealed for being threat to locality

Srinagar, May 30: Authorities on Saturday sealed a godown of a LPG gas distributor at 90-feet Soura for being a ‘threat’ to the locality.
“The godown of Hamdan Gas Agency at Hassanul Bannat Colony Umerhair 90-feet Road has been seized by Tehsildar Eidgah, in which about 400 cylinders have been sealed,” a police official said. He said the godown was threat to the locality as it is located in the middle of residential area.
“In this connection case FIR No. 52/2020 u/s 336 IPC, 3/7 EC Act, 23 Petroleum Act has been lodged against owner of the Hamdan Gas Agency namely Aadil Ahmad Dijooof Hasanul Bannat colony who had illegally stored LPG gas Cylinders in tin shed in his compound, thus making whole colony vulnerable.”
The store along with 400 cylinders has been sealed, added.
