The stranded include 120 emergencies including 30 pregnant ladies,” a group of J&K people told INS over the phone from UAE. They said there are also elderly people and students among the stranded.
“Visit visa holders who came to UAE in search of the job are out of sources to continue their daily survivals. There is no medical insurance,” they said, adding, “Most of the stranded people have lost jobs, business and all of them want to fly back so that they will not be overburden by their daily expenses. We don’t have sources to pay rents, school fees of our children.”
The stranded people have requested the administrators in the J&K to arrange direct flights so that they can reach home.
